The Association of Pest Management Professionals of Ontario Constitution and Bylaws

Constitution

1.  The name of the organization is The Association of Pest    Management Professionals of Ontario (hereafter referred to as the “Association”).

2.  The purposes of the Association are:

(a)     To promote safety in the use of structural pest management equipment, supplies and products by members of the Association and by the general public. 

(b)   To educate the members of the Association in new structural pest management techniques, supplies and products as they become available. 

(c)    To promote public awareness as to preventive techniques available for the management of pests. 

(d)   To promote high standards of business conduct by members of the Association offering structural pest management services, supplies and products to the public.

3. The activities of the Association shall be carried on without purpose of monetary gain for its members and any income, profits or other accretions to the Association shall be used in promoting the purposes of the Association.  No director shall be paid remuneration for services rendered to the Association in his or her capacity as a director but may be reimbursed his or her reasonable expenses in acting as such.  This clause is unalterable.
